SEOUL AND TAIPEI FLIER

U.S.A Schools of Music Auditions for Study in the US
beginning in the Fall, 2017

https://www.usaschoolsofmusic.com

One common audition will be held for all the schools. Students will be expected to perform two or three compositions of contrasting styles and historic periods from standard literature. String, woodwind, and brass performers should prepare two contrasting movements of a major concerto or concert piece; chamber music is not acceptable. Vocalists must provide an accompanist and sing one work in English. Composition students send a portfolio of original scores to each school when the application is submitted; do not bring them to the audition.  Composition majors are welcome to schedule an interview with the administrators but do not need to perform.

Faculty at each school evaluate the auditions once a student’s file is complete.
